Sedgwick Acknowledges Data Breach After TridentLocker Ransomware Claim

Sedgwick Government Solutions confirmed unauthorized access to an isolated file transfer system after the TridentLocker ransomware-as-a-service group claimed to have exfiltrated ~3.39 GB of documents and posted samples on its leak site; TridentLocker uses double-extortion (data theft plus encryption) and is linked to multiple victims since November 2025. Sedgwick says the affected system is segmented from broader company systems, engaged external incident response, notified law enforcement and clients, and reported no evidence of access to claims management servers.
