SmuggleShield – Browser Extension to Detect HTML Smuggling Attacks

This report introduces SmuggleShield, a Chrome/Edge browser extension aimed at mitigating HTML smuggling by combining pattern-based detection with a lightweight ML model and features such as URL whitelisting, incognito-mode support, and exportable logs. It highlights the tool’s potential to help prevent attacks associated with campaigns like Quakbot, DCRat, Pikabot, and AsyncRAT, and recommends obtaining the most comprehensive version from GitHub.
