Paidwork Data Breach Exposes 23.3 Million Accounts, Banking Data and bcrypt Password Hashes

Paidwork experienced a significant data breach (publicly released in July 2026) impacting ~23.3 million unique accounts and an approximately 11GB dataset. The exposed archive reportedly contains extensive personal and financial information — names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, dates of birth, profile photos, IP/device data, bank account numbers, financial transactions and payout histories — and bcrypt-hashed passwords, which together present a high risk of phishing, financial fraud, payment diversion, and identity theft.
