Chrome Security Update Fixes 8 Vulnerabilities That Could Enable Remote Code Execution

Google released Chrome stable updates (146.0.7680.164 / 146.0.7680.165) that patch eight high-severity memory-management vulnerabilities—including heap buffer overflows (WebAudio CVE-2026-4673, WebGL CVE-2026-4675), use-after-free issues (Dawn CVE-2026-4676, WebGPU CVE-2026-4678, FedCM CVE-2026-4680), out-of-bounds reads (CSS CVE-2026-4674, WebAudio CVE-2026-4677), and an integer overflow in Fonts (CVE-2026-4679)—which could lead to crashes or remote code execution; users are advised to update Chrome immediately via the About menu.
