New PoC Exploit Published for Microsoft Defender 0-Day Flaw

A security researcher using the alias “Chaotic Eclipse” publicly released a proof-of-concept exploit called “RedSun” for CVE-2026-33825 (a Microsoft Defender vulnerability) and posted it to GitHub and their blog, alleging Microsoft dismissed their coordinated disclosure attempts; the public drop shortens the window for defenders and the researcher has threatened further remote code execution disclosures, prompting recommendations to apply the official patch, monitor telemetry, and tighten access controls.
