Expel Managed SIEM is a co-managed service for Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel that embeds Expel’s detection engineering into customers’ existing environments, offering two tiers—Detection Engineering (rule development, tuning, pipeline monitoring) and Performance Engineering (health remediation, cost optimization, optional SOAR and migration support). The announcement emphasizes transparency (customers see all rules and own the IP), elimination of per‑rule or data‑volume incentives common to legacy MSSPs, and operational relief for teams overwhelmed by SIEM maintenance.
