Companies with 250-1,000 employees suffer high security alert fatigue

This UK-focused report finds that SOCs—particularly in organisations with 250–1,000 employees—are severely impacted by alert overload and false positives, driving burnout, cancelled personal commitments, higher turnover, and ignored alerts (citing the 3CX supply-chain example); it concludes that many organisations would benefit from adopting managed detection and response (MDR) to reduce alert noise, improve detection and response, and alleviate staffing pressure.
