Setting Up Firebase in an iOS App

This article advises iOS developers on managing Firebase configurations for multiple build environments by using a build-phase script to copy the appropriate GoogleService-Info.plist into the app bundle, explains trade-offs of the default Firebase setup (including method swizzling for push notifications), and shows how to disable the app delegate proxy and manually forward the APNs device token to Firebase.
