Introducing Censys CLI Skills: AI-Assisted Investigations at Scale

This article introduces nine Censys-powered investigation "skills" (CLI command wrappers, a CenQL reference, and two methodology skills) that teach AI assistants to perform enrichment, pivots, population counts, and monitoring to scale SOC/CTI/vulnerability workflows; it illustrates usage with four hypothetical use-cases (a 2 a.m. outbound TLS alert, CTI IOC triage, GitLab CVE-2026-85706 vulnerability scoping, and brand phishing detection), emphasizes rigorous bookkeeping and population-aware pivots, and notes prerequisites and licensing for advanced pivots like certificate history.
