Frostbitten in France: A Danfoss StoreView Internet Exposure Report

Attackers actively exploited known vulnerabilities in Danfoss StoreView refrigeration controllers (notably a date-based admin login and other flaws) to switch hundreds of supermarket freezers in France into defrost mode, spoiling food and causing some fires; the report maps affected firmware versions, shows many Internet-exposed and unpatched/legacy devices, documents telemetry of hosts disappearing after the incident, and references CERT-FR alerts and vendor patches.
