NIST asks for Help securing Data in Quantum Computing Era

NIST has requested public submissions for post-quantum cryptography algorithms to protect data and communications against future quantum computers, aiming to replace vulnerable public-key standards (FIPS 186-4, NIST SP 800-56A, and NIST SP 800-56B). Researchers were invited to submit proposals by November 2017, with promising algorithms to be reviewed publicly in a multi-year evaluation process including workshops and community analysis.
