Trend will work with Panasonic to thwart Connected Vehicle Hacks

Trend Micro has partnered with Panasonic to jointly develop cybersecurity solutions for connected vehicles, combining Trend Micro's IoT and threat prevention expertise with Panasonic's in-vehicle CAN intrusion detection and prevention technology. The collaboration will focus on protecting in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, ECUs and telematics, sending data to a cloud platform for analysis and blocking suspicious traffic, framed against prior research demonstrating remote attacks on vehicle systems.
