A Georgian researcher, Ucha Gobejishvili, claims to have found a critical, remotely exploitable zero-day in Google Chrome that can silently download and run a malicious executable on Windows; he plans to demonstrate the issue at the MalCon conference. Google says it has not been notified and will wait to see the demonstration; no exploit code or proof-of-concept has been released and there is no evidence of in-the-wild exploitation.
