Malware’s Future Looks A Lot Like Its Present

Panelists at the RSA Security Conference argued that the future of malicious software will largely resemble the present: persistent phishing, spam and worms, with rapidly accelerating mobile malware built from lessons learned in the PC space, increasing supply-chain risks, and limited progress on hardware-based defenses and stronger sandboxing.
