Password Shaming: SCADA Password Dump Intended to Improve Security

SCADA Strangelove published a public GitHub spreadsheet containing default administrator credentials for 106 SCADA products from major vendors (Schneider Electric, Emerson, Siemens, etc.). The researchers argue that vendors should require changing default passwords and enforce stronger authentication, noting that unchanged defaults create easy entry points into industrial control systems even though the list itself is intended to help auditors and defenders rather than to facilitate attacks.
