NIST Cyber Security Draft Framework Puts Execs In Driver’s Seat

NIST released a draft Cybersecurity Framework for Critical Infrastructure that guides organizations through five core functions—Know, Prevent, Detect, Respond, and Recover—helping owners/operators assess and improve risk management, align with existing standards, and engage senior leadership; the draft will be refined via public workshops and includes the concept of Framework Implementation Levels to measure preparedness.
