Bright Security Introduces STAR Fuzzer, Agentic Fuzzing That Writes Its Own Harnesses and Proves Every Finding

Bright Security announced STAR Fuzzer, an agentic fuzzing mode of its Bright STAR platform that uses AI agents to generate harnesses and an evolutionary search engine to find crashes and memory-safety bugs; in early testing it identified high/critical issues in multiple open-source projects (e.g., Crystal stdlib, htop, RIOT OS, libsolv) and produced reproducible findings with byte-exact payloads that were replayed and reported.
