GSMA Announces Security Guidelines to Support Growth of the Internet of Things

The GSMA published a set of consensus guidelines to promote secure development and deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) devices and services, addressing challenges such as identity, privacy, availability and extending cellular security to low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN). The guidance, produced with major operators and vendors, aims to standardize architectures and best practices for endpoints, service providers and network operators to improve end-to-end security and privacy in IoT deployments.
