US says North Korea behind WannaCry Attack

The White House publicly attributed the global WannaCry ransomware outbreak to North Korea, saying the campaign infected more than 150,000 systems (including UK NHS hospitals), exploited an NSA-derived vulnerability leaked to the public, and was traced with help from Microsoft and Facebook; the U.S. and partner governments condemn the attack and plan to hold North Korea accountable.
