Chrome 0Day A No-Show At Security Con

A scheduled Malcon talk was cancelled after researcher Ucha Gobejishvili withdrew, citing travel/visa issues; he had claimed to have discovered a "critical" zero-day in Google Chrome (dubbed “Calypso”) affecting a DLL on Windows that could silently download and run a malicious executable. The researcher declined to provide proof-of-concept code or notify Google, and no independent verification or evidence of active exploitation is reported.
