IBM Tweaking Watson AI For Cyber Security Analysis

IBM announced a cloud-based version of its Watson cognitive technology, "Watson for Cyber Security," to be trained with researchers from multiple U.S. and Canadian universities to help detect cyber attacks and cyber crimes. The project aims to augment security analysts by parsing large volumes of security data, reducing false positives, and automating links between data, threats, and remediation; IBM plans beta deployments later in the year.
