Aikido acquires Root to secure the supply chain

Aikido announced the acquisition of Root and the integration of Root's agent-native system that generates precise, non-breaking CVE patches for the exact package versions customers run. The release markets new Aikido Libraries and Aikido Images as drop-in, vulnerability-mitigating replacements that backport fixes and contribute critical patches upstream, and is a product/industry announcement rather than an incident report.
