Trojan in Counterfeit Copies of Windows 7 Builds Botnet

DumpBrowserSecrets is a publicly available post-exploitation tool that harvests browser-stored secrets (saved passwords, session cookies, OAuth refresh tokens, credit card data, autofill, history, and bookmarks) from major Chromium-based and Firefox browsers. It implements an App-Bound Encryption bypass for Chrome/Edge/Brave by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL via Early Bird APC to call the IElevator COM interface, and handles DPAPI and NSS models for other browsers; the report describes operational evasion features, extraction output (JSON), an attack scenario, and detection and mitigation recommendations.
