DumpBrowserSecrets is a post‑exploitation credential-harvesting tool that targets Chromium- and Gecko-based browsers to extract saved passwords, session cookies, OAuth refresh tokens, credit card data, autofill entries and browsing history. It bypasses Chrome's App‑Bound Encryption by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL to use the IElevator COM interface, supports DPAPI and NSS decryption for other browsers, includes multiple evasion techniques (string obfuscation, API hashing, PPID/argument spoofing, file-handle duplication, custom SQLite parser), and outputs structured JSON to facilitate account takeover and lateral movement; the report covers usage, attack scenarios, detection opportunities, and mitigations.
