DumpBrowserSecrets is a post‑exploitation credential‑harvesting tool (available as precompiled binaries on GitHub) that targets Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera variants, Vivaldi and Firefox to extract saved logins, cookies, OAuth refresh tokens, credit card data and browsing history. It implements an App‑Bound Encryption bypass for Chromium‑based browsers by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL via Early Bird APC to call the IElevator COM interface, includes DPAPI and NSS handling for other browsers, and bundles operational evasion features (string obfuscation, API hashing, PPID/argument spoofing, handle duplication, and a custom SQLite parser); the report explains attack scenarios, detection opportunities, and mitigations.
