CFRipper – CloudFormation Security Scanning & Audit Tool

DumpBrowserSecrets is a Windows post‑exploitation tool that harvests credentials and session tokens from major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera variants, Vivaldi, and Firefox). It bypasses Chrome’s App‑Bound Encryption by injecting a DLL into a headless Chromium process to use the IElevator COM interface, retrieves DPAPI or NSS secrets for other browsers, and outputs structured JSON of extracted cookies, logins, OAuth refresh tokens, credit cards, autofill data and history. The report covers implementation details, evasion techniques, an attack scenario, detection opportunities, and mitigations relevant to red team and defensive testing.
