DumpBrowserSecrets is a publicly available post-exploitation credential-harvesting tool that targets major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera variants, Vivaldi, and Firefox) to extract saved passwords, session cookies, OAuth refresh tokens, credit card data, autofill entries, history, and bookmarks. The tool bypasses Chromium App-Bound Encryption (Chrome 127+) by spawning a headless browser and injecting a DLL to use the IElevator COM interface to decrypt keys, implements DPAPI and NSS handling for other browsers, and includes multiple operational evasion techniques; it is presented as a red-team utility but poses substantial risk if used by malicious actors.
