DumpBrowserSecrets is a publicly available post‑exploitation tool that harvests browser‑stored secrets (passwords, cookies, OAuth tokens, credit cards, autofill, history, bookmarks) from Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera variants, Vivaldi, and Firefox. The tool bypasses Chrome's App‑Bound Encryption by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL that uses the IElevator COM interface to decrypt keys, handles DPAPI and NSS models for other browsers, includes evasion techniques (string obfuscation, API hashing, PPID/argument spoofing, handle duplication), outputs structured JSON, and is intended for red team / assumed‑breach testing but presents clear misuse risk for lateral movement and cloud account takeover.
