DumpBrowserSecrets is a public post‑exploitation tool that harvests browser‑stored credentials and session tokens from major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera variants, Vivaldi, Firefox). It bypasses Chrome's App‑Bound Encryption by injecting a DLL into a spawned headless Chromium process to call the IElevator COM interface, supports DPAPI and NSS decryption for other browsers, includes evasion features (string obfuscation, API hashing, PPID/argument spoofing, file handle duplication), outputs structured JSON, and is intended for red‑team assumed‑breach testing but poses a high-risk capability for real attackers to achieve cloud account takeover and lateral movement.
