DOE Hit By Hackers and Covered Up

DumpBrowserSecrets is a publicly available post-exploitation tool that harvests browser-stored secrets (saved passwords, session cookies, OAuth refresh tokens, credit card data, autofill and history) across Chromium-based and Firefox browsers. It implements an App-Bound Encryption bypass for Chrome/Edge/Brave by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL via Early Bird APC to call the IElevator COM interface, retrieves DPAPI and NSS-protected data for other browsers, and includes evasion features such as string obfuscation, API hashing, PPID/argument spoofing, and handle duplication; output is written as structured JSON for red-team use and testing detection controls.
