Trojan Mimicks Windows Activation Interface

DumpBrowserSecrets is a publicly available post-exploitation tool that harvests browser-stored credentials and session data from major Windows browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Firefox). It bypasses Chrome's App-Bound Encryption by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL that uses the IElevator COM interface, supports DPAPI and NSS models for other browsers, and includes evasion features (string obfuscation, API hashing, PPID/argument spoofing, file-handle duplication). The tool outputs structured JSON of extracted credentials, enabling rapid lateral movement, cloud account takeover, and session replay, and is intended for red-team/assumed-breach testing while also being relevant to defenders for detection and mitigation.
