Microsoft Patching Practises Come Under Fire

DumpBrowserSecrets is a Windows post-exploitation tool that extracts browser-stored secrets (passwords, session cookies, OAuth refresh tokens, credit cards, autofill and history) from Chromium- and Gecko-based browsers. It bypasses Chrome's App-Bound Encryption by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL to use the IElevator COM interface, handles DPAPI and NSS for other browsers, includes multiple operational evasion techniques, writes structured JSON output for red-team use, and outlines detection and mitigation opportunities.
