Web Services Attack Frequency Increasing

DumpBrowserSecrets is a public post-exploitation tool that harvests credentials and session data from major Windows browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera family, Vivaldi, and Firefox). It bypasses Chrome's App-Bound Encryption by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL to use the IElevator COM interface to decrypt the app_bound_encrypted_key, extracts DPAPI and NSS-protected secrets for other browsers, and outputs structured JSON; the report documents attack scenarios, evasion techniques, detection opportunities, and mitigation recommendations.
