DumpBrowserSecrets is a post‑exploitation credential‑harvesting tool that targets major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera variants, Vivaldi, and Firefox) to extract saved passwords, session cookies, OAuth tokens, credit card data, autofill entries and history. It bypasses Chrome's App‑Bound Encryption by spawning a headless Chromium process and injecting a DLL via Early Bird APC to use the IElevator COM interface to decrypt the app_bound_encrypted_key, handles DPAPI and NSS for other browsers, and includes evasion techniques (string obfuscation, API hashing, PPID/argument spoofing, handle duplication, custom SQLite parsing); the report highlights detection points, use cases for red teams, and defensive mitigations.
