DumpBrowserSecrets is a post-exploitation credential-harvesting tool that extracts saved passwords, session cookies, OAuth refresh tokens, credit card data, autofill entries, and browsing history from Chromium-based and Gecko-based browsers. It bypasses Chrome's App-Bound Encryption by spawning a headless Chromium process, injecting a DLL to call the IElevator COM interface and retrieve the app-bound key, uses DPAPI/NSS methods for other browsers, outputs structured JSON, and includes multiple evasion features to reduce detection by EDRs—making it a high-risk capability for lateral movement and cloud account takeover in enterprise environments.
