The U.K. government has relaxed certain sanctions on Russian energy: a new license permits import of diesel and jet fuel derived from Russian crude if refined in a third country, and a separate, time-limited exemption allows maritime transport of LNG from Sakhalin-2 and Yamal LNG until 1 January 2027; both measures may be reviewed or revoked.
