Convicted Spyware Dealer Links Greek Government to Surveillance Scandal

Weeks after convictions tied to a large domestic wiretapping scandal, the founder of Intellexa stated the company sells its Predator commercial spyware only to authorized governments and law enforcement, while Greek politicians and opposition parties renewed allegations that the software was used to illegally surveil at least 87 targets across politics, media, and the military; the Intellexa group has also been sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury.
