Global Coalition Dismantles Massive Cybercriminal Proxy Network

An international law enforcement operation, supported by Europol and Eurojust, dismantled a large illicit IP proxy network that had infected roughly 369,000 modems and routers in 163 countries. The service allowed about 124,000 anonymous customers to route traffic through compromised devices and generated more than €5 million in illicit revenue before being taken offline.
