Authorities say the fake IDs were used in phishing, bank helpdesk fraud and to access cryptocurrency accounts; seizures during the investigation included servers (previously seized with U.S. assistance in August 2025), electronic devices, cash and cryptocurrency, and the platform generated multimillion-euro revenue before being taken offline.
