This document introduces NarcoFiles: The New Criminal Order, a large-scale investigative journalism project led by OCCRP and partners that used leaked datasets from Distributed Denial of Secrets and Enlace Hacktivista to reveal how transnational organized crime groups in the drug trade operate, expand, and inflict disproportionate harms on developing nations, underscoring the need for cross-border reporting.
