Malaysia Seizes Millions in Cash and Gold in Military Procurement Probe

Malaysia’s Anti-Corruption Commission is investigating alleged corruption in military procurement, arresting 23 individuals and seizing approximately 5.8 million ringgit in cash, luxury goods, and freezing company accounts totaling over $7.6 million. The probe, involving suspected bribery, abuse of power, and money laundering across a network of companies tied to defense tenders, includes a former army chief and is nearing completion.
