Seven-Country Operation Nets 28 Child Abuse Suspects

An Europol-coordinated investigation led by Norway across seven countries (including Canada, Czechia, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Switzerland) between late May and mid-June rescued three children and resulted in 28 arrests for child sexual exploitation; investigators used cryptocurrency tracing to identify alleged sellers on dark-web forums, seized over 460 items (electronic devices, crypto wallets, narcotics, and doping substances), and reported that one suspect allegedly used AI to generate illicit material. The probe is ongoing and further arrests are expected.
