A privacy bug in Apple FaceTime on iOS 12.1 and later can allow callers to eavesdrop on audio and enable the front-facing camera by adding themselves to a Group FaceTime or joining via another device before the recipient answers. The issue was reproduced on multiple devices (though an Apple Watch microphone access was not observed), and Apple is expected to release a patch soon.
