This article reviews key findings from the SANS 2025 Attack Surface Management survey and argues that security teams need unified internal/external coverage, business-aligned risk quantification, and automated mitigation; it presents Infoblox's Digital Risk Protection Services as a solution that discovers external attacker infrastructure, automates evidence-backed takedowns, and integrates DNS-layer enforcement to reduce exposure windows.
