US Seizes Domains to Stop Illegal World Cup Streaming

The US Department of Justice, supported by international partners and private companies, executed Operation Offsides and seized nearly 400 domains used to illegally stream FIFA World Cup matches — targeting pirate servers (including in Peru and Bulgaria) to protect intellectual property and warn viewers about malware and data risks from illicit streaming sites.
