Massive Smishing Error524 Campaign Evades Traditional Security Filters Worldwide

This report describes the Smishing Error524 global fraud operation: a large-scale mobile phishing campaign impersonating hundreds of brands across 72 countries that uses fake Cloudflare error pages, client-side geofencing, obfuscated Vue.js single-page applications, and encrypted WebSocket channels to exfiltrate national ID and full credit card details; investigators identified 4,389 phishing domains and use of short-lived TLDs (.ink, .bond) and cloud hosting (Tencent/Alibaba) to rapidly re-front and evade detection.
