Operation Takedown: DOJ and Global Allies Smash 30-Terabit IoT Botnet Empire

U.S., Canadian, and German authorities coordinated a takedown of four large IoT botnets — Aisuru, KimWolf, JackSkid, and Mossad — that had infected millions of devices and launched hundreds of thousands of DDoS attacks (including attacks approximately 30 Tbps). The operation involved domain and server seizures, disruption of infrastructure used against the DoD, reported financial losses and extortion, and cooperation from major tech companies such as Google, AWS, Cloudflare, and Okta.
