A critical path traversal vulnerability (CVE-2026-6074, CVSS 9.8) was found in Intrado 911 Emergency Gateway (EGW) software, affecting EGW versions 5.x–7.x; an attacker with network access can bypass authentication to the management interface and obtain read/modify/delete access to system files, potentially disrupting 911 services. Intrado released a software update on March 2, 2026, and customers are urged to verify versions and apply the patch immediately.
