Critical ABB Alert: OPTIMAX Flaw Allows Full System Takeover

ABB published a critical advisory for CVE-2025-14510: an Azure Active Directory SSO authentication-bypass in ABB Ability OPTIMAX (versions 6.1–6.4 prior to 20 Nov 2025) that can grant attackers full administrative access and enable shutdowns, configuration changes, or arbitrary code execution; ABB provides patches (e.g., v6.4.1-251120 and v6.3.1-251120) and recommends disabling the Azure AD integration as a temporary workaround.
