Ricardo Data Leak Exposes User Contact Details

A security incident at Swiss marketplace Ricardo exposed contact information (names, postal addresses, and phone numbers) for roughly 890,000 user accounts after exploitation of a security vulnerability; emails and passwords were not accessed. Ricardo has patched the vulnerability, is contacting affected users, notified the Swiss data protection authority and national cyber centre, and intends to file a police complaint.
